Felicity Moran helping you build a culture of integrity, accountability, and responsible innovation.
Felicity is an experienced ethics and governance consultant specialising in the intersection of people, culture, and technology. With a background in bioethics and over eight years’ experience in research ethics and compliance, she helps organisations embed integrity and ethical reasoning into decision-making processes and operational frameworks.
Felicity’s career spans leading Australian institutions, including the University of Melbourne, Monash University, and the CSIRO’s Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness. Across these roles, she has developed a deep understanding of ethical governance and regulatory frameworks, as well as the practical realities of implementing them within complex organisations. Her work has included leading ethics teams, advising on compliance strategy, and managing institutional risk, always with a focus on cultivating transparency and accountability.
Now expanding her practice beyond research settings, Felicity focuses on helping businesses and public sector organisations navigate emerging ethical challenges — from the responsible use of artificial intelligence and data, to fostering cultures of integrity and ethical leadership. She brings a pragmatic, consultative approach that balances regulatory compliance with human values and organisational goals.
Felicity holds a Master of Bioethics (Research Ethics) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Animal Welfare Science from the University of Melbourne. She has also completed leadership and governance training through the Australian Institute of Management.
Known for her analytical insight and calm, methodical communication style, Felicity is passionate about guiding organisations to act ethically and responsibly — not only to meet compliance requirements, but to strengthen trust, purpose, and long-term success.
